Baby Girl Knitting

I'm so excited that I can finally share this. My brother and sister-in-law are having a baby girl. I made a little hat and skirt out of a self striping yarn, so it looks like more work than it actually was. They both went together so quickly and I just love how they came out. The skirt was my first time putting elastic into something I had knitted. Turns out it wasn't hard at all!

I think the onesies go along very well!

Close up of the little skirt! I'm in love with it!

I also had to make a little blanket too. This was another striping yarn (can you tell I really like them) and it took a little longer to make. It was a really simple pattern done diagonally. Hopefully this little girl will get lots of cuddles with it!

I think this border adds a lot to the blanket.

This was another little hat I made. I actually made this one before the other one. I did this one newborn size and my sister-in-law told me that it is already packed in the hospital bag! I can't wait to see some pictures of this darling little baby with it on!

I love the lace pattern around the brim!
I hope these items get a lot of use by the baby girl to be! I can't wait to meet her and make some more girly things for her!!!
