It's been awhile....

So I've been really bad here lately about blogging my projects. That's not to say I haven't been working on things, I just haven't sat down and taken the time to record them. We have been having days with sunshine and it's hard to sit inside at the computer when it's like that. Today I was out there running around in a t-shirt...in MARCH!!! I can definitely say I have a little bit of spring fever going on. I've been daydreaming about gardens...veggie and flower....and then of course I am distracted. Anyways.. 

Here is a few table runners that I made and listed in my Etsy shop. I love the modern look to them! 

Here is a custom order rainbow unicorn I crocheted. Pattern is here and was so fun to do! I hope the little girl who wanted it falls in love with it. 

And last is a quilt I made for my aunt to give to a young girl and her mom going through a rough time. I hope this wonky star quilt brightens their lives and helps them in their time of need. Sometimes you just need something you can wrap yourself up in and feel the comfort of the people who gave it to you. It was something that needed to get done quickly, so I challenged myself to get it done, start to finish, in a weekend. Happy to say I did it! I made the quilt top on Saturday, pieced the backing, and basted it. Then on Sunday I got it quilted and the binding put on it. I love the swirl quilt design I chose to do on it also! This quilt also went great because it used up a quite a few of my fat quarters.

Well that is all for the moment. I am working on a few small wall hangings and that's about it at the moment. Every time I say that though, more rolls in than I know what to do with. Thankfully I love all the projects I get handed and I have fun with each and every one of them.
