Feeling very blessed

I was recently surprised by my online quilting group with a beautiful baby quilt for Haley. Each girl did a block and Kristen put them all together and quilted and bound it. I love how it all coordinates so well together and it is the perfect colors for her nursery. I have been so lucky to get to know these girls that are from all over the place and share our love of quilting with them. I feel so blessed to have them in my life and cannot wait for this little one to enjoy this quilt! Each and every block means so much to me because it really does show off all the different styles of quilters in the group.

Here I am at 32 weeks pregnant with the quilt. I just love it so much! 

Penny's Custom Quilt

I had such a blast with this quilt! I was told to go crazy on it and I feel that's what I accomplished. It took a whole lot of hours to get it done, but the results were well worth it in my opinion. Check out this awesome quilt! 

I did a few different designs throughout the quilt. 

The backing was a black textured design so it really shows off the quilting!!!

I had so much fun with this quilt. I would have to say my favorite style of quilting is this custom and really dense version. It just adds the best texture to a quilt!

Trish's Lover's Knot Quilt

I was really excited to work on this Lover's Knot quilt. I have never made one, but have always admired the pattern. She decided on a custom quilt job which really brought out the gorgeous piecing done in this quilt. Check it out.

I outlined 2 of the colors and did a small stipple on the other two colors. 

Here you see the two different borders I did. One is a continuous loop around the entire quilt and the other is a sort of chain.

After working on this quilt I may have to make one of these some day for myself....I will add that to the very long list of bucket list quilts.  

Genene's Puzzle Quilt

This was a really fun quilt to work with. I love how all the colors went together so well and the puzzle type block makes for a pretty awesome quilt! She wanted just a basic stipple on this which worked out beautifully. 

A few more client quilts

I picked up a stack of quilts for a client recently. Here are a most of them. I love how I can try out a lot of different designs and how each quilt turns out so different with the different patterns. I'm so happy I get to do this because the quilting is my absolute favorite part! Check out these beautiful quilts...

I picked a pretty dense all over flower/popcorn type design for this one. 

I did a meandering loopy design for this fun Christmas one. 

The all over leaf design for this one in variegated thread turned out so cool!

This quilt was very large so I did a basic stipple all over it.

 I had so much fun with all of these quilts and cannot wait to work on some more. 

Ruby's Card Trick Quilt

This is the first quilt I quilted for someone else on my new machine. I absolutely love the fabrics she chose for this quilt and she decided on a semi-custom quilt job. I think this turned out beautifully!
